New station partners, the Friends of West Worthing had an excellent day at the station on 28th November. The sun was shining, volunteers from The Conservation Trust (TCV) as well as local residents joined forces to remove invasive buddleia and tidy up generally around the area.
There is a poster up at the station, inviting volunteers to get in touch if they’d like to help with litter picking, planting or anything which enhances the station environment.
The Friends of West Worthing was started by one local resident, and it’s great to see more people joining to help. The Keep Lancing Lovely Group who are station partners at Lancing have also offered advice and practical help.
