Go Train for Primary Schools

The Go Train programme will help your pupils develop confidence and skills for safe, independent travel on public transport. It provides your pupils with the skills to plan journeys, purchase tickets, and use rail services safely and confidently. It also promotes sustainable travel. It is aimed at Year 6 pupils.

Sustainable & Healthy Travel Workshop (Yr 6)

This free interactive workshop, which promotes sustainable and healthy travel, aims to encourages Year 6 pupils to think about their transport choices and how these choices impact on their health and their environment. This workshop can be delivered in your classroom by our Education Officer or online via Zoom.

The ‘Try a Train’ experience is an ideal opportunity for those who lack confidence travelling by train to visit our stations and experience a train journey. They are for people who experience barriers to independent travel, who wish to build their confidence when travelling on public transport.
