We wanted to make sure that you had our statement on the publication which is below. Network Rail and GTR will continue to work together with industry partners to support the investigation and ensure the railway continues to operate safely. We will continue to cooperate fully with RAIB and will carefully consider any further findings – acting quickly on any lessons and sharing learning across the industry.
Our focus remains on supporting those affected by the incident, keeping customers moving during the disruption and the recovery operation which will be undertaken as quickly and safely as possible. We are hoping to provide more exact timelines on this soon.
