At long last Crowborough station has been able to put the community noticeboard funded by Community Rail Network, in partnership with SCRP to its intended use which is to provide a space for local support groups to publicise their services to the community.
Available on a monthly rota to organisations who have to pre-book with the station staff, Spencer Miller. Spencer is a keen supporter of the local community and worked tirelessly providing support during the recent lockdown during this time the board was used to promote practical help and information services that were available. Now as things return to some normality we have reverted to the original plan.
First to take advantage of the space are an organisation called ‘Clued Up’ who work with young people between the ages of 11 and 25 within the local area.
