If you’re near Lancing station, do go over to the beautiful garden area across the line from the ticket office and Asda.
Station partners, Keep Lancing Lovely asked Lancing and Sompting Men in Sheds if they’d make a train planter for the Railway Station Garden. One of the ‘shedders’ made this wonderful choo-choo train planter, all made from reclaimed materials.
It was painted and planted up as a joint project and now installed, – a wonderful addition to the station partners’ garden. Funding came from GTR Passenger Benefit Fund.
