Sussex Community Rail Partnership and the Rail Neighbourhood Officers attended this year’s Children’s Safety Day. 100’s of children from primary schools in Uckfield and the surrounding villages came to learn how to keep themselves safe on what was probably the hottest day of the year. They learnt about road and rail safety, the risks of fire in and out of the home, Uckfield FM kept the music playing and Waitrose were there handing out goody bags
This is a lovely annual event that shows how committed the town is to keeping it’s children safe – looking forward to 2018 already!
