Calling all budding wildlife photographers.

Here’s your chance to have your photo displayed in an exhibition at Rye railway station.

The Friends of Rye Harbour Nature Reserve have organised a wildlife photography competition.

Photos should cover one of three categories:

:: A Rye Harbour landscape
:: Rye Harbour wildlife
:: People enjoying wildlife at Rye Harbour

There are three age groups (age as at 31 December 2026):

:: Junior (Under 12 yrs)
:: Youth (12-18 yrs)
:: Adult (18 and over)

Winners, runners-up and highly commended entries will be shown in an exhibition at Rye railway station in partnership with Southeast Communities Rail Partnership and Southern Railway, on the big screen at the Discovery Centre in partnership with Sussex Wildlife Trust, online and in the Friends newsletter. The nine winners will each receive a £25 gift voucher for the Rye Harbour Discovery Centre.
