Travel on a Southern train to Eridge, join the Spa Valley train, enjoy a trip to Groombridge, a beautiful little village on the boarders of Kent & Sussex.  Within walking distance is Groombridge Place, a quaint village green, the grounds of Burswood with a charming tearoom, an ancient church and a couple of village pubs.   Stay on the train to the High Rocks Halt, get off here for a meal or a drink at the High Rocks Inn then wander around the High Rocks, a Victorian pleasure garden.  Or at the end of the line is  Tunbridge Wells West station which is a five minute walk to the historic Pantiles with a great mixture of food and drink venues, an eclectic mix of independent shops, a regular farmers market and more often than not some form of musical entertainment.  Then back to the Spa Valley Railway for your return journey.
