Some good news – the art project at Tonbridge station on the underpass that joins platform 3 to the car-park has been shortlisted for an Association of Community Rail Partnerships (ACoRP) award, the category is ‘best permanent art project’.
The installation was a joint effort lead by Graham Upton (artist), the Tonbridge Youth Hub (volunteer painters), Esther Leigh-Hollands, youth group leader, Southeastern and ACoRP who jointly funded the project and of course ourselves the Sussex Community Rail Partnership.
