Albury Vineyard, situated in the beautiful Surrey Hills, produces still and sparkling wines of the highest quality. Albury's first wine, Silent Pool Rose, was served on the Royal Barge to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Visitors can experience wine tasting, cheese boards and a self-guided vineyard tour.

Guildford's Yvonne Arnaud Theatre is a busy producing and repertory theatre creating and touring nationally with many shows transferring to the West End. On the Main Stage and the Mill Studio, an eclectic mix of classic and contemporary work is staged by new and established writers. A cafe makes the most of the theatre's location on the river.

The Deepdene Trail is just a 15 minute stroll from Dorking's town centre and railway stations. Visitors enjoy free access to the historic gardens, privately owned since their creation in the 17th century. The story of the Regency landscape and its owners is guided by a mobile App that reveals glimpses of the landscape as it was in the early 1800's.

Denbies Wine Estate, with 265 acres under vine, has won multiple gold awards for sparkling wines. Denbies is open all year round with two restaurants, wine and gift shop, art gallery, events facilities, micro-brewery, farm shop and Bed & Breakfast. Denbies offers a range of daily winery and tasting tours and seasonal outdoor vineyard tours.

At Rodmell is Monk's House, the 16th century weather-boarded cottage that was home to Virginia and Leonard Woolf. Full of Bloomsbury treasures, the house reflects its owners and their guests including TS Eliot and EM Forster. The extensive cottage garden, created by Leonard, is gorgeous whatever the weather.

A Tardis for everyone who loves a bit of nostalgia. Old radios, shops, clothes, household appliances, a cannon on the roof and a drawbridge. Situated in the Napoleonic Martello Tower No 74 on the seafront esplanade, it is so much bigger than it looks.

YHA South Downs is a refurbished Sussex farmhouse and barn located right on the South Downs Way and the Egrets Way cycle path, just a short stroll from Southease railway station. Surrounded by the rolling hills of the South Downs National Park, the site is ideal for exploring by experienced or budding naturalists, or a stop on a longer walk or bike ride.

Discover how Tudors and Elizabethans lived, worked and relaxed at home. Part of Anne of Cleve's divorce settlement from Henry VIII, the house dates from the 15th century. Other highlights include the authentically furnished kitchen and the garden which uses traditional plants and Tudor planting schemes.

Step back in time with the Medieval Monks. A recreated herb garden grows to demonstrate how the monks used herbs to heal, cook and celebrate. A wheelchair-accessible trail leads through the ancient Priory ruins, with information about the daily life of the monks.
