The underpass at Redhill station has been given a colourful new look. A large scale map showing access stations to the North Downs Way national walking trail with views of some of the beautiful surrounding countryside has been installed. The artwork was designed by our friend Graham Upton who worked closely with Pete Morris, Trail Manager for the North Downs Way. The project was financed by a grant from GTR.
This newest installation is part of an on-going Sussex Community Rail Partnership project with GTR at Redhill station. Our station partners East Surrey YMCA also have exciting plans for another project on platform 3 as well as their continued presence looking after the platform planters.
