On Friday 17th May, the Friary Gardeners from the Parchment Trust made their annual visit to the station at Robertsbridge.
The Gardeners had grown the plants at their nursery in Hastings and made the trip to the station on the train to plant them out into the platform displays.
Ross Browning from Southeastern Railways greeted them at the station and provided cake which always goes down well.
They made short work of the task in hand then enjoyed their picnic lunch on the platform watching the trains and passengers come and go.
Our thanks must go out to the Salehurst and Robertsbridge Parish council for their kind funding of the plants.
