Railway enthusiasts and onlookers were well chuffed when the Christmas Sussex Belle steam train travelled along our lines.
The LMS Black 5 locomotive No. 44871 pulled the Railway Touring Company charter train via Lewes to Eastbourne then on to Hastings and back to London Victoria via Battle and Tunbridge Wells.
Crowds of people gathered at the stations and on platforms to see the train and take photos/videos of the occasion.
