All Change at Rail Partnership
The Sussex Community Rail Partnership (‘SCRP’) is about to embark on an exciting new period, as after 10 years of management by Sam Lear, Sam is moving on to become an Environment Manager at GTR.
The SCRP is now working hard to create an invigorated team which can continue to move the aspirations of the relevant line groups and partners forward.
A recruitment campaign has started and the plan is for a new manager to be in post by the end of the year and for officers for the Seaford and Arun Valley lines to be in place by early 2017.
The Chairman of the SCRP Ltd, Tim Barkley, paid tribute to Sam, saying:- “Sam has almost single handedly grown the SCRP from small beginnings into an extensive network of community rail lines across Sussex. She has encouraged wider community engagement and developed strong support from key partners across a wide geographical area. We wish Sam well in her new position at GTR and thank her for her commitment and support over the last 10 years.
“Sam will be with us until 6th October. Our team will be happy to help over the coming months, they can be contacted through the website www.sussexcxcrp.org
