The Billingshurst Beaver Scout group have made a second visit to nearby stations, meeting staff, learning about working in the rail industry and presenting the ticket office with a small hand-made train.

Saturday 10th January was a sunny but frosty day, and the group embarked at Billingshurst, where they saw their model train handed over in December, proudly displayed in the ticket office.

Then it was off on the train to Arundel, with Arun Valley Line Officer Rowena Tyler joining the group at Pulborough.

At Arundel, the group was met and welcomed by Laura at the station.  She was delighted to receive one of the model trains, and happy to answer questions about her role at the station.

After a look at the station garden, which includes bug hotels and chainsaw sculpture benches, the group boarded the train again, returning to Pulborough where they met Alex and handed the final model train over.

The collection of model trains were made by each of the four Beaver cub groups, and now have pride of place at Horsham Billingshurst, Pulborough and Arundel.
