Friday 12th September marks the start of the Rye Festival, Rye Studio School who are Station Partners, will be involved in a Parade which will be going around the cobbled streets of Rye and finishing up at the Station where the drums , whistles and a colouful display will greet passengers arriving on the 2.55 from Brighton.
The Stations other partner The Creative School have also been preparing for this event and are exhibiting some of their paintings in the Station.
This marks the start of a ongoing collaboration between the Rye Station and the two Schools. This will be the template for future developments on other Stations.
