Something to celebrate:
Whilst Southeast Communities Rail Partnership has enjoyed and benefited from our relationship with Rotherfield Parish Council for a long time, signing up as Station Partners creates a more formal relationship with GTR/Southern. This will hopefully lead to more exciting projects over the coming years.
As the station environment at Eridge has improved over the past year, the Parish Council have offered more and more support by way of a generous grant, planting, artwork, furniture for the new waiting room and some lovely hanging baskets courtesy of Eridge in Bloom. They also managed to work out a way to discourage parking on the grass verge of the access road to the station, which was something that was of concern to local residents.
Looking forward to a long and lasting relationship with many more projects to benefit the station and all who use it.
