We had a wonderful evening in Derby celebrating the Community Rail Awards 2026. Farnborough Street Residents Association who look after Reg’s Garden and the Station Master’s House on the North Downs Line, won two awards. They were winners for the Most Significant Contribution to Community Rail Award: a great achievement and one they should be very proud of. They also received the Bronze Award for Best Community Engagement which demonstrates how the Community Hub at Farnborough North Station has become such a welcoming place for all. The Hub has become a much loved venue and resource for local communities.
