Pleased to be able to tell you that a new volunteer has joined the SCRP family. Local lady ‘Ros’ has taken on the task of maintaining the planters at Buxted station.
Buxted is a tiny station on the Uckfield line, the area offers several walking routes the most impressive is to the grounds of the Buxted Park Hotel. A magnificent, historic mansion set in acres of parkland which also houses a 13th century Church. The grounds are dog friendly and of course the hotel offers refreshments to non-residents. Something to consider for the Bank Holiday weekend?
This is the third volunteer to sign-up in the past couple of months with new partners for Eridge and Redhill and Reigate stations.
