Details of the temporary timetable, which Southern have put in place to try to restore overall predictability to the service which isn’t currently available to passengers with Ad-hoc cancellations as they are, can be found here http://www.southernrailway.com/your-journey/revised-timetable
SCRP is very disappointed to see the train service reductions being implemented by Southern which will inevitably affect local communities, and visitors to the SCRP area wishing to travel on these lines. We are particularly concerned that off-peak weekday services between Lewes and Seaford will be replaced by buses, and that the peak weekday service between Rye and Ashford will be halved. We hope that a normal service can be resumed as soon as possible and urges DfT to facilitate urgent discussions between GTR and the trades unions to bring the dispute to a speedy conclusion.
SCRP will continue to work with local communities on the projects currently underway in the best way possible at this very difficult time.
