Following on from the success of our trip last year Hazelcourt FE College in Eastbourne invited SCRP in for further independent train travel training with their students. This year we were bigger and better with 4 workshops on Planning your Journey and Rail Safety followed by the groups choosing to travel to Brighton, Bexhill and Hastings for lunch out. With thanks to all of the students (who behaved impeccably!) and staff (who also behaved themselves!) We were assisted all the way by Southern staff who really went out of their way to make the journey accessible to all through the Try a Train Scheme which provided free tickets for the journeys. A big thank you to everyone!
