Following the help of Network rail the Map was at last, installed into it’s rustic chestnut frame at Crowhurst Station. Ben the local craftsman was delighted with the sighting of the map in the raised bed foremost at the top of the Station car park.
It was hugs all around as the map was finally settled into it’s permanent position.
One rail user said ” what a beautiful thing”.
Huw Merriman MP happened to be visiting the station on another matter and couldn’t resist having his photo taken with the map and members of the Parish Council.
