The Eden Valley Museum have continued to supply some of the area’s stations with photographs from their amazing archive.
Some of you will have noticed displays at both Cowden and Edenbridge Town stations. The latest display is at Hever, with kind permission of GTR/Southern, features historic images of the village from a bygone age. Pride of place under the Hever station platform sign is an image of two Victorian gentlemen in bowler hats chatting outside the main entrance to the station. There are futher images upon the platform waiting shelter.
The Eden Valley Museum is situated within it’s own historic building on the High Street in Edenbridge. It holds a facinating collection of local history and is well worth a visit.
