Well deserved plaques from the Railway Heritage Awards have been officially unveiled today at Battle Station. Grade II listed, designed by William Tress it is considered to be one of the finest examples of gothic revival stations in the country. It underwent major sympathetic roof and chimney restoration works in 2019 winning Southeastern a National Railway Heritage Award for Craft Skills .
