It explores the history of the local area from its earliest settlers in the Neolithic and Bronze Ages to the present day. There is no charge to visit, has an interesting collection and runs free drop-in family activities throughout the year. The museum raises awareness, shares knowledge and promotes enjoyment of local history. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
