On Wednesday 22nd May, Andy Pope undertook a walk with the Battle Ramblers through some beautiful Kent and Sussex fields and woodland.
The Rail to Ramble event started at Battle Station were we boarded a train to Frant in Kent. From there we walked to Wadhurst across the county boarder into East Sussex. The threatened heavy rain kept off and we were treated some beautiful meadows and wildlife.
This “Rail to Ramble” will be listed as part of the High Weald Walking Festival due to take place in from the 7th to 15th September but will remain online as a self guided walk long after that.
