For my first Try a Train trip on the 1066 Line I had the pleasure of helping Oakley School pupils and
Southeastern staff David and Gemma from High Brooms to Tonbridge today working on skills for life and independence. We enjoyed using ticking off the sights and sounds at the station and seeing what was coming up next. Southeastern staff went out of their way to make the trip run as smoothly as possible and give us all a behind the scenes look at Tonbridge Station.
We made use of both the sunflower lanyard scheme and the children each received a ticket holder and JAM Just a Minute card which allows staff to recognise a passenger may need a little extra time. These are free and bespoke https://www.jamcard.org//
A big thankyou to all of the children and staff from Oakley School and we hope to see you again soon for another trip.
