The winners and runners-up in the Write on Track poetry competition have been decided.
Rye Harbour Writers and Southeast Communities Rail Partnership ran the competition with the theme of a positive experience of railways to tie in with the Railway 200 celebrations for 200 years of the modern railways.
The chosen winners were:
Over-18 category

3rd Jeff Gallagher
Under-18 category
1st Oriana Marrs
2nd Raphael Swain
3rd= Amara Swain
3rd= Xavier Marrs
The winning entries will be displayed in the waiting room at Rye station in the new year.
