The Sussex Community Rail Partnership Ltd is looking to appoint an independent Director to its Board.
The Company is a not for profit organisation and all its Directors are volunteers. The company employs 2 full time and 3 part time staff, based at a number of locations around Sussex.
Sussex Community Rail Partnership works to connect the community with its railway, enhance station environments, support station partnerships, support the local economy and promote public transport modal shift.
The Company is seeking a motivated and competent individual who can bring experience and knowledge of financial management onto the board to support our current Financial Director. The Company has seen rapid expansion over the last 3 years and is working with Community Groups, Local Authorities and the train operating company in a challenging financial climate. This is an interesting, challenging and exciting role.
As a Board member you would be expected to attend our regular Board meetings, approximately 4 per year and our Stakeholder Advisory Board meetings, approximately 2 per year. In addition, there will be opportunities to attend meetings with our partners and projects/events organised by the Company across our area of activity.
