On Friday 22nd March we held a morning of confidence building for Diversity Resource International. The trip from St Leonards Warrior Square to Battle was an all Chinese ladies group wanting to learn more about getting around on the Southeastern trains. Talking to the SER ticket office staff and information points as well using the Ticket machine and various Apps available.
Despite living locally, many had not purchased tickets or even used the trains before. By the end of the trip the group were planning longer visits to Battle, London and Brighton.
One lady said that she had “learnt so much and met so many lovely people she wouldn’t hesitate to travel with her family and friends on the trains in future”.
