Dr Sarah Jacques launched the new outreach services to be hosted by the Bistro at Etchingham Station.

Working with Rother Voluntary Action and the Southeast Community Rail Partnership, Dr Sarah has engaged with various organisations including Rural Rother Primary care Network, the Citizens Advice services and others to deliver their service from the community space at Etchingham Station. This is the first site for the new project. It is hoped to be duplicated at Battle, Robertsbridge and Rye.

The public meeting was greeted with positivity all round with the local residents extremely pleased that these services will be delivered locally to them rather than having to travel into the the more urban areas. Representatives for South East Railway are exited to see the space being used in such a positive way.
