Myself and colleague Sara Grisewood had a lovely day at All Saints Church of England Primary school, Wokingham, running two creative workshops with children in years 5 and 6.
The children worked with a variety of media on A3 sheets of paper in pairs and some worked individually on small detail pieces which were later collaged together. The theme of the sessions were hidden wildlife in hedgerows by railway lines: trees, plants, birds and small animals and insects.
The artwork created was truly wonderful and will soon be installed in the frames at Earley Station for commuters to enjoy.
