Another ever-popular Family Fun Day took place at Reading station on Thursday 29th May.

The free event was held in the Brunel Arcade and featured a wide range of activities including games, a swap shop, quizzes, badge making and art workshops. Visitors also had the opportunity to learn about Reading’s railway history. The British Transport Police were on hand with their wonderful mobile mini railway to educate attendees on railway safety and Reading Buses had transport themed games and prizes.

The event was a collaboration between Southeast Community Rail Partnership, Hampshire Community Rail Partnership, Network Rail, Reading Museum, Reading Buses, South Western Railway and Great Western Railway.
