The sun has shone on many of our community rail week activities. A full report next week. The events during community rail week do a lot to answer the question “What is community rail?” People can see what we do and feel the immediate benefit and results. We make so many new connections to groups who are grateful to finally find their point of contact with trains and integrated transport champions. In this weeks update you will read about initiatives to combat anti-social behaviour, bus connections to get people to the great outdoors without the need for a car, Railway 200 celebrations, work with businesses to improve station approaches, poetry art and interior design.
