Richmond

North Sheen Richmond St Margarets
Richmond is a jewel in southwest London, where riverside charm, historical splendour and green expanses meet in warm balance. A short stroll from Richmond station brings you to Richmond Green, an elegant open space surrounded by Georgian and Victorian buildings, often used for community events and gentle relaxation. From there, winding streets lead you to Richmond Hill, crowned by the Terrace Gardens, which frame one of London’s most celebrated views over the Thames and surrounding landscape. Just beyond the hill lies the expansive Richmond Park, a royal deer park brimming with wildlife and ancient trees, offering miles of walking trails, cycling routes and secluded vistas. Closer to the river, the riverside promenade leads past moored boats, cafés and historic riverside houses, providing a peaceful stroll beside the Thames. Nearby, Kew Gardens sits just across the river, with its iconic glasshouses, botanical collections and world-famous landscapes. And tucked into the neighbourhood is the Richmond Theatre, an architectural gem hosting dramas, musicals and live performances in the heart of the town. With each step through Richmond, you cross from leafy parkland to riverside calm to cultural richness, all woven into a singularly beautiful setting.
