Kew Bridge

London Museum of Water & Steam – Based in the buildings of the historic Kew Bridge Waterworks, the museum traces the development of London’s clean water supply. Open Wed-Sun 10am-4pm, there is plenty to see for families and steam enthusiasts alike.

The Musical Museum began with the private piano collection of the late Frank Holland and now includes a climate-controlled library of over 20,000 music rolls, theatre space, a concert hall, and cafe with views of the river. Open from 10:30-17:00 on Tuesday and Fri-Sun, the museum also welcomes visitors on Bank Holidays.

Watermans Park – is an open green space with play equipment situated next to the River Thames (open from 8am – dusk). It neighbours the Watermans Art Centre which holds a variety of activities, theatre shows

River walk – along The Hollows.

Gtech Community Stadium – is the new home of both Premier League club, Brentford and Premiership Rugby club, London Irish. Situated within 100m of Kew Bridge Station on the Hounslow Loop Line, the stadium is accessible from Lionel Rd South.

Bordering the Hounslow borough boundary in Richmond, the park has a play area, skate facilities and a fitness trail. Murray park is accessible at all hours.

Carville Park – Carville Hall North and Carville Hall South were formed from the remains of the garden of Carville Hall. The two sides of the park are quite different in character. To the south are the remains of the fishponds and to the north is a play area and outdoor gym equipment. There is also a path leading to Gunnersbury Park. It is open from 8am – dusk.

Gunnersbury Park – the 186-acre park is considered to be of national significance with much to do and see including historic buildings, play equipment, boating and a café. There are also a whole host of events held during the summer months including music festivals and fairs. A multimillion-pound restoration project was completed in June 2018 with the reopening of the large mansion as a museum. The park is home to a new sports venue offering a variety of indoor and outdoor facilities and activities for all ages and abilities.
