Feltham Hounslow Isleworth
Hounslow is home to Osterley Park & House (National Trust), Syon Park and the Arts Centre Hounslow, with outdoor performances at Bell Square enlivening the High Street. The town sits between Hounslow Heath and Lampton Park, with the River Crane and Duke of Northumberland’s River forming green corridors towards the Thames at Isleworth. Shopping clusters around the Treaty Centre and the newer High Street Quarter, while nearby parks and towpaths offer easy walking and cycling. Excellent transport includes the Piccadilly line (Hounslow East/Central/West) to Heathrow and central London, South Western Railway from Hounslow station to Waterloo via Richmond/Clapham Junction, and fast road links via the A4/M4.

Hounslow Heath

A fragment of old wilderness known in the 18th century as a haunt of highwaymen, nowadays this is a grassed area with a children’s playground.

Crane Park

Crane Park follows the bends of the River Crane from Meadway in Twickenham to Hanworth Road at its western end.

Walking Information

Kneller Park – Forming part of the River Crane walk, the Kneller Gardens is a popular place for sports and dog walking with many facilities including football pitches, tennis courts, play equipment and an outdoor gym.

Twickenham Stadium – is the Home of England Rugby and the largest rugby union in the world with the capacity to seat 82,000 spectators. If you’re not there for match day, there’s still plenty to do including a stadium tour, a visit to the World Rugby Museum and a range of other events.

Murray Park – Bordering the Hounslow borough boundary in Richmond, the park has a play area, skate facilities and a fitness trail. Murray park is accessible at all hours.
