Barnes Bridge
A short stroll from the station you’ll find the Thames Path Trail right by the riverside, Barnes Pond in the heart of the village, and the Barnes Trail—a circular walk of 2–3 miles that showcases the area’s charm.
Other nearby highlights include Sir Richard Burton’s Tent Tomb, Barnes Common, and the WWT London Wetland Centre, ideal for nature lovers and bird watchers.
You can also cross the Barnes Railway Bridge, a Grade II listed structure that carries both rail and pedestrian traffic, and one of only three in London to do so.
