Students and staff from the Oaks Specialist College (Tonbridge) were part of the Community Rail Week celebration at Tonbridge Station. They displayed items made by the students who participate in the college’s crafting activities which included wood worked items, candles, hairbands, key rings, ornaments and much more.
The Oaks, proud partners of the station, care for and maintain the station’s planters (built by the students) and ever evolving garden area. The students further enjoy independent travel training opportunities hosted by our education team.
Their partnership with the station is proving to be a beneficial relationship to all; the students, passengers, station staff and management and of course Southeast Communities Rail Partnership.
