It’s the start of a busy month of events in Brighton.
Brighton Fringe starts today (5 May) and runs until 4 June. Tickets to more than 830 events are now on sale.
Brighton Festival begins tomorrow (Saturday 6 May) and lasts until 28 May. The guest director this year is Nabihah Iqbal.
Artists Open Houses festival also starts on Saturday and runs each weekend in May.
Van Gogh Alive interactive exhibition opens on 12 May. UPDATE: the opening of the exhibition has been delayed – details here.
Further afield, the Charleston Festival is from 17 -29 May. The organisers say: “Charleston Festival brings together today’s most exciting writers, artists and changemakers to engage with art and ideas. Imagine the world differently through our programme of talks, conversations and performances.”
