Southern treated a group of young people who do not normally have much access to the train network to a great day out last week. The County Care group boarded the train at Redhill and set off for London Bridge, where they were met by Southern’s Accessibility Manager who gave them a guided tour of the nearly completed London Bridge Station. Southern treated the group to lunch and then they set off to explore the Thames River Path. The weather was perfect and a great day our was had by all.
The young people learnt a lot about the railway and we certainly learnt a lot from them!
