On Tuesday 24th January, Staff from the Darent Valley CRP and SCRP along with members of the local steering groups were treated to a rare inside visit to the Govia Thameslink Regional Operation Centre.
We had a fascinating tour of the floor where the trains are controlled and saw first hand, the reaction of the controllers when there is an issue with the running of the trains.
Teams from both Network Rail and GTR operate in the same building, working side by side to ensure a quick response can be made when needed.
