The bi-annual bus surgery took place at Uckfield station on 31 August. By kind permission of Southern Sussex CRP and the Wealden Bus Alliance took over the station car-park to welcome a Brighton & Hove bus and lots of representatives from organisations concerned with bus travel including Bus Users UK. Members of the public were invited to make comments and suggestions on their local bus service, this feedback is invaluable to the transport providers.
Also present were representatives from Southern who had the opportunity to talk to their passengers, the town Mayor, some Councillors, local press and radio. The Wealden MP Nus Ghani took time out of her busy schedule to open the event and spent time talking to the public about their suggestions.
