An excellent day out to the Brighton Toy and Model Museum for a group of students on their Independent Train Travel Training through the GTR Try a Train scheme which offers free travel for those with barriers to travelling independently. A big thanks to Jan for a fascinating tour of the museum and for kindly donating her time. Students learned thorough an initial workshop and previous trip to Hampden park various aspects of train travel from planning a journey to rail safety and what to do when the unexpected happens.
