A new addition to the Tide Mills Project is helping to bring the story of the village to life.
There are now a series of Augmented Reality (AR) codes around the site.

Scanning the codes on the boards using the camera on a smartphone then leads to a video tour of the site.

The scene then fades to black and white and actors tell the story of some of the people who used to live at Tide Mills.

There are walking tours of Tide Mills on Saturday 17 September and Sunday 18 September as part of Heritage Open Days 2022.
The nearest railway stations to Tide Mills are either Bishopstone or Newhaven Harbour.
