We were delighted during volunteers’ week to welcome South Western Railway COO and Interim MD Stuart Meek to the Incredible Edible Community Garden at Staines Railway Station. Loyal volunteers were on hand to talk Stuart through how they have taken this disused and neglected land and transformed the space into a thriving, fruitful community focal point. Stuart was genuinely impressed with the progress, dedication and ambition of all involved. A shining example of partnership working at its best.
