Southeastern Railway is planning a year of activities to mark 200 years of modern railways.
The train operator says it will “honour our wonderful past, current successes and fantastic future ahead”.
Southeastern said: “We want 2025 to be a year that makes everyone feel proud to work at Southeastern and inspires the next generation to join our railway family. This is a once-in-a-lifetime event and it’s up to us to make it as memorable and inspirational as possible.
“To help showcase our shared history, we have launched a dedicated website, which will showcase our events and tell our stories. There’s also an opportunity to share your own stories, photographs and memories, too.”
