Details have been released of the Seedy Sunday event to be held in Brighton on Sunday 5 February.
At the heart of Seedy Sunday is the giant seed swap table. Bring seeds to swap saved from last year’s crops. Seed saving experts and gardeners will be on hand to offer all the advice you need to choose and grow your seeds. You can collect Seedy Sunday envelopes from Infinity Foods in Brighton.
The event takes place at a new venue: it will be at Brighton Girls GDST, Montpelier Road, Brighton BN1 3AT. Entrance is £4, under 18s free.
There will be a range of talks in the comfort of the Brighton Girls’ Assembly Hall. Themes this year include gardening for biodiversity, why we save seeds, and No Dig Gardening. There will also be a home-grown Gardeners’ Question Time. Talks will start at 10.30 and run through to 4.00 when the event closes.
