The full list of events for this year’s Heritage Open Days has been published.

There are 20 venues taking part in the Lewes district (covering Lewes, Newhaven, Seaford and other towns and villages) and 63 in the Brighton & Hove area.

Each September thousands of volunteers across the country invite you to experience local history, architecture and culture. All for free.

Heritage Open Days will be back 9-18 September 2022.

Many of the events are close to railway stations including Take Shelter at Downs junior school close to London Road Brighton station.
