In October, SCRP Line Officers Lynda Spain and Rowena Tyler facilitated a joint Annual General Meeting (AGM), kindly hosted at West Sussex County Council’s County Hall, Chichester.
Over 30 partners and stakeholders attended the meeting, where, in addition to a review of each of the Community Rail Lines, given in the Chairs’ reports, presentations were given from
Sarah Breden and Katie Macallister, on the progress of Southwick Station Community Garden; Alex Powell, Rail Enforcement Officer (REO), on dealing with anti-social behaviour at stations in the West Coastway area; Mike Lamport, Railway 200 Committee, detailing how each an every partner could be part of the 200 year anniversary of the railway in Britain.
Bob Lanzer and Tim Sparrow were voted in once again, as Chair and vice-Chair, respectively for the Arun Valley Line, and Kevin Boram and Daniel Washington were voted in once again as Chair and vice-Chair, respectively for the Sussex Coast Line.
